Billing and autopay that put next season in the bank by February
Bollard splits a seasonal contract into 3, 6 or 12 autopay installments, charges them by ACH or card, retries failures on a schedule and keeps every dollar visible in one ledger. Boaters pay $0 in fees.
How it works
What you get
ACH first
ACH is the default rail for seasonal contracts: 0.8%, capped at $5 per payment. On a $4,800 contract paid by ACH, the fee is $5.00, not $38.40.
Cash that arrives in winter
Installments can start the day a boater signs, so next season revenue lands from November instead of April.
Collections on autopilot
Late-fee rules with a grace period and cap, retries on day 1, 3 and 7 with a polite text and email, then an office alert and a demand letter template.
The fee on every transaction
The platform fee is shown on each payment, so there is never a surprise in your payout report.
- Invoices with line items, tax, credits, refunds and partial payments
- Payouts through your own Stripe Connect account
- Optional instant payout at 1%, off by default
Billing and autopay: common questions
What does Bollard charge on payments?
0.3% on card payments and 0.8% on ACH, capped at $5. Your boaters never pay a fee.
Where does the money go?
Directly to your own bank account through your Stripe Connect account. Bollard takes only its platform fee.
What happens when a payment fails?
Bollard retries on a schedule, messages the boater each time and alerts your office. Overdue balances sit on one board with days late and the next automatic action.
